Francis (Butch) Parlapiano

 

PARLAPIANO - Frank M., of Mountainside, on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1998, beloved husband of Michele L. (nee Tronolone), loving father of Lauren M., devoted son of Mary Lucy (nee Masi) and the late Francis Parlapiano, caring brother of Marie Cristo and Dolores Ruggerio. Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 9 a.m. from The ROSSI FUNERAL HOME, 1937 Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, Mountainside. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Contributions may be made to Cardiac Clinic Practice, St. Michael's Medical Center, Newark, N.J., or St. Jude's Children's Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m

 

A Mass for Frank Parlapiano, 53, of Mountainside will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mountainside, following the funeral from the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains.

Mr. Parlapiano died Tuesday in St. Michael's Medical Center, Newark.

He owned the Community Food Management Service of New Jersey, serving many areas in New Jersey, for more than 10 years.

Mr. Parlapiano was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, N.Y., and Middlesex County College, Edison.

He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Parlapiano was a member of the Tuesday Nite Mixed Bowling Club, Clark, and the Mountainside Parents and Teachers Association.

Born in Irvington, he lived in Summit before moving to Mountainside in 1970.

Surviving are his wife, Michele L.; a daughter, Lauren M.; his mother, Mrs. Mary Parlapiano; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Cristo and Mrs. Dolores Ruggiero.
