Obituary Christopher was born in Orange, New Jersey to parents Titus Harry Lang and Virginia Lang. He was the second of four boys born to the couple. T. Harry Lang Jr. was the eldest, followed by Christopher, then Richard, then Donald. He attended Summit High School. Chris graduated in the class of 1964 and he was a member of the first undefeated football team in the history of Summit High School he played running back and was very instrumental and their 10-0 season. He also was active in track and field and hockey. He often played on the same hockey team as some of his brothers. Hockey was in the blood I guess you could say because of his Canadian grandparents. He then went onto graduate from Colgate university where he studied astronomy. As a navy pilot, he went on to teach fellow officers how to fly. He married Patricia Della Lang (née Camp) in 1977. They had two children Amelia born in 1978 and Benjamin born in 1983. After leaving the navy he joined Eastern airlines, where he flew until 1984 when he decided to open up his own software company named Lang Systems Inc. In 1992 Christopher and family moved to Maryland to take over Woodhall Vineyards and Wine Cellars as it was a dream of his and Patrica to have winery of their own. His wife passed away in 2007, after which he and his children opened up a restaurant in 2008 named Patricia Della in tribute to her. After the closing of the winery and restaurant, he went on to work at Galloping Goose Vineyards, with his partner Diane Hale. He also was a member of RCMB (Radio Control Modelers of Baltimore), where he could continue his love of flying using remote control planes. Christopher was also an accomplished musician playing guitar and piano. Some of the bands he played with The R and B Sounds, The Wizards of Oz, and The Chardonnay Incident, which also included his children Amelia and Benjamin. He also was a painter using mostly oil paints at the beginning moving onto watercolors later on in life. His favorite subjects were boats and of course, planes, though he did also paint landscapes and some portraits, including one of his father. An accomplished pilot, athlete, artist, chef, and everything in between, he meant so much to so many. Though he may be gone in body, he lives on in our memories and in our hearts and in the indelible spirit that touched so many. One can only hope he’s with his soulmate, Patricia and they can both rest in peace together.
